Institute of Public Affairs Daniel Wild says the “accelerator” has been pushed on housing demand with the mass migration program. “Which has been completely out of control for two years now,” Mr Wild told Sky News host Rita Panahi. “It’s been at record levels; our analysis shows that 70 per cent of new builds last year were taken up by international students alone across Australia.”
