i really love people and just the overall feel of yoongi's mixtapes. it feels like he's giving us advice and speaking directly to us, like a life lesson of sorts. so i wanted to make a visualiser to capture his words. in most of his songs, there's parallels to his passing quotes in the docuseries and interviews, and i love how he made entire songs to get the message across. like his working philosophy ('what's good is good') and 'the loss of the ordinary' translation credits to doyoubangtan, studio0613 and btstrans. the subtitles may not be 100% accurate since i took translations from different sources to make his words clearer -- sooo yoongi dropped his mixtape while i was sitting for online university exams (literally the hour before my submission, i still have nightmares). i started a concept visualiser for 28 too (god i have so much inspiration after d2 was released) but i've been procrastinating enough on exams so who know's if i'll ever finish that. not at how i was blasting the dwaechita mv on repeat while struggling to lower the word count to my report (i still can't believe he dropped the mixtape ONE hour before my submission) but yeah it's been awhile since i edited a video (engineering is rough) so i hope you enjoy!!
