To make a simplified version of HK milk tea, take 2 teabags of your favourite black tea into a mug with boiling water, let steep for 5 minutes, and then add ⅓ cup of evaporated milk and sweetened condensed milk to taste. Leave to cool. 2. To make the brown sugar syrup, add 1 cup of brown sugar and 2 cups of water to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Then, turn the heat down and simmer until the syrup reduces (approx. 10 minutes). 3. Meanwhile, take your desired amount of tapioca pearls and add it to a saucepan of boiling water. Boil for the amount of time specified on the packet. *TIP* keep checking the texture of the tapioca to preferred softness. 4. When the tapioca pearls are boiled, plunge them into cold water to stop them cooking. 5. Add the tapioca pearls into the simmering brown sugar syrup and simmer for another few minutes until the syrup is at your desired thickness. 6. Pour into your glass then pour your milk tea – enjoy! *if you prefer your milk tea hot, just make the milk tea as the last step. __ MUSIC// Music by MYSM - Honeymoon At The Holiday Inn - https://thmatc.co/?l=A290BD70 Music by MYSM - Smooth Talkin' - https://thmatc.co/?l=8D7B2561 CONNECT WITH ME// Website: https://www.joellephua.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/joellephua_/ Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.co.uk/joellephua_/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/joellephua/ Business emails only: jyqphua@outlook.com ABOUT// Hey!
