In this episode I explore how to select your core, split-primary limited palette from a set of watercolours you already own. While it’s best to begin learning colour-mixing with fewer pigments, we can often find those within a larger set we already own. And what fun to have so many other pigments to choose from when creating our paintings! Materials used: • Fabriano Artistico traditional hot press watercolour block, 140lb. • Sennelier 3/0 squirrel mop brush • Sennelier watercolour set in a wooden box: https://www.jacksonsart.com/sennelier-watercolour-wooden-box-set-24-x-half-pans-with-acessories Questions? please ask! I’m here to help. :) Check out my classes on Craftsy.com! They are all meant for beginners :) Start-Up Library: Watercolor http://shrsl.com/r3lz See Better, Draw Better http://shrsl.com/r3m9 Improve Your Paintings: Luminous Watercolor Mixing http://shrsl.com/r3mf
