The concept is to serve a wide variety of different cuts of meat including, beef, pork, lamb, chicken, etc; in succession to each diner individually right at their table, thus there is not a traditional menu. Churrascaria Plataforma is the authentic NYC "rodizio" style! Gourmet Salad Bar The cheerful atmosphere of Plataforma invites you to tour the first course of your dining experience. We begin with our gourmet salad bar where you’re presented with a banquet of the freshest vegetables and salads, accompanied by four native Brazilian casseroles crafted from old-world recipes. It’s a veritable feast with exotic salads such as salpicão (a unique Brazilian chicken salad), eggplant casserole, and many other gourmet Brazilian dishes. During dinner hours, shrimp cocktail, Mediterranean octopus salad, and an assortment of Japanese sushi, sashimi, and handcrafted rolls can be found at our gourmet salad bar. On Wednesdays and Saturdays we serve our traditional “Feijoada”. Feijoada is a long-simmering authentic Brazilian signature dish made with black beans, savory cuts of pork, and fresh herbs. Our vegetarian guests often compliment us about the variety of flavors, the quality of fare, and our presentation. The Bar Wind down your day or kick off your evening with a complete array of beverages all served in a unique Brazilian lively atmosphere. Wines by the glass, single malt scotches, our famous “Caipirinha” (a concoction of fresh limes, sugar, crushed ice and “Cachaça” – Brazilian liquor made from raw sugar cane), martinis and many non-spirited beverages.
