This anthem was composed in the 1950’s; by the late Dr. Isebarongo Rwamirimo Nkurukenda, as a gift to the Kingdom for sponsoring his education. He was a student at St. Leo’s College Kyegobe in Fortportal –Kabarole district, at the time of composing this anthem. Bunyoro-Kitara is the first kingdom to have a lyric video of her anthem. The kingdom is located in the western part of Uganda -East Africa. The language is Runyakitara and the people (both subjects & royals) are Banyoro.
