All New 2025 Genesis G80: The Epitome of Modern Elegance The G80 sedan gets a subtle facelift for 2025, with a new grille, upgraded headlights, redesigned bumpers (both front and back), and different wheel designs, giving it a marginally sharper appearance. A new front bumper with bigger air intakes and a textured grille distinguish Sport trims from non-Sport versions. More substantial alterations are made to the G80 inside. A new, substantially larger 27.0-inch OLED display panel now takes up most of the dashboard space, necessitating some redesign work. The G80's infotainment interface and its changeable gauge panel are both well presented. At its base, the center console houses new touch-sensitive climate controls, upgraded trim, and a rotary shift knob. The 2025 Genesis G80 looks every inch the elegant mid-size luxury car thanks to its sharp profile and refined interior. Upon opening the driver's door, you will be greeted by a cabin that is opulent and furnished with top-notch materials and technology. Although it goes up against the Mercedes-Benz E-class and the BMW 5-series, the Genesis is bigger and seems more like a cheap Bentley. Standard power comes from a 300 hp turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder; however, a more refined and powerful 375 hp is available with the twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 engine option. Despite the Sport moniker, this V-6 vehicle is anything but a sporty sedan. Price estimates for the 2025 Genesis G80 range from $56,000 to $75,000 (or more, depending on trim level and extras). Among the several trim levels, the 2.5T Advanced seems to be the most value for money due to the numerous premium amenities it has, which more than make up for the higher base price. Features such as a motorized trunk lid, 21-speaker Lexicon audio system, heated front seats, 19-inch alloys, and a panoramic sunroof are standard on the Advance level. A 300-horsepower turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four is included on the base G80 model. Those in want of speedier acceleration may get the more potent Sport variant, which is equipped with the 375-horsepower twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6. An eight-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive are standard on both engines. At our test track, the V-6 reached 60 mph in 4.9 seconds, while the turbocharged four-cylinder clocked it at a lively 5.7 seconds. Your time spent viewing the AutoFast channel is appreciated.
