Watch the newest episodes to the Fairly Odd Parents channel! Episode 80A/B – FAIRY IDOL Norm the Genie has had enough of being a Genie. He’s sick of all the lame masters he’s had to serve throughout the centuries, he’s sick of granting the same unimaginative three wishes over and over again, and he is sick and tired of his lamp. But this will all soon change. While reading a copy of “Da Rules,” Norm learns that if a Fairy God Parent quits his or her job, all the magical wish-granting creatures in the universe may apply for the vacant post. And Norm knows just the two fairies that could be tricked into quitting: Cosmo and Wanda. Norm manages to get his lamp discovered by Timmy’s friend Chester, placing himself in the perfect position to make some mischief. Of course Chester thinks this Genie is there to make his dreams come true, so his first wish is for a Timmy clone that will allow his buddy to skip school with him and go hang out. The little switcheroo fools even Cosmo and Wanda who end up with the clone all day. Unbeknownst to the boys, this clone was actually a super-mean-and-nasty version of the real Timmy, and now Cosmo and Wanda are being abused by what they think is their God Kid. By the end of the day, the fairies have had enough – they quit! The real Timmy returns home to discover his two Fairy God Parents being taken away by Jorgen Von Strangle. Jorgen’s next task is erasing Timmy’s memory of his fairies. But Jorgen catches the clone instead. The real Timmy Turner still remembers his Fairy God Parents – and he remembers losing them too. Timmy now sets out on a journey to Fairy World to get Cosmo and Wanda back. Meanwhile, Norm the Genie makes plans to head off to Fairy World too for the big competition that’s about to take place for the next Fairy God Parent. But he’s still bound to this kid Chester. So Norm buys himself some freedom by granting Chester his next wish: Chester wishes that his dad, the failed baseball player Bucky McBadbat, was the greatest baseball star ever. As everyone knows, the second Genie wish is always the one that goes horribly wrong. Chester’s well meaning wish for his pop ends up a nightmare leaving Chester the most miserable kid on Earth. Sounds like he could use a Fairy God Parent… Subscribe to The Fairly OddParents - Official: http://goo.gl/fSPS7l
