I wanted to explore what nitrogen fixing plants we have. From clover meadows to various vetches and pea plants, these incredible species enrich our soil and support our sustainable farming, so we never need to buy fertiliser. I was surprised to find out how many different nitrogen-fixing wild flowers we have. Here's a closer look at these essential plants at our homestead in Norway. We are completely dependent on these plants so that the pasture and vegetables will have a good enough soil quality and we can grow all the vegetables we need to achieve our big goal of never having to buy food.. only harvest, breed and grow it.
