The miracle of modern society - everyone working together so that folks can have a shower when needed, boil the kettle for water, light the stove to make dinner. Our society is complex and it works because we all work together. It is not dog-eat-dog. _________________ "There is no 'perfect'. There is only your truth at this moment in time." - Corinna Jane ______________________________________________________ This is me, ad-libbing some vocals. I have reached a place in my life and singing level, so that I now feel comfortable singing without a safety net. I want to share this with others. I would like other singers and prospective singers to gain support from my initiative and put aside their fears, worries, expectations, judgements and everything else that gets in the way of creativity. It is true that I used to be my harshest critic; a complete perfectionist. I have no doubt that I made others feel uncomfortable. In addition, this behaviour sabotaged my own career, in that it effectively stopped me from creating my own songs for decades. Since I changed my attitude, I am singing better than ever and have written over 60 works. I have created a great many recordings and I feel very proud of my body of work... And excited by the possibilities of what is to come. My plan is to post a video every day. All unplanned, unrehearsed, spontaneous expressions of song. You can do this, too. See how easy it is to just let go, open your mouth and sing. Don't think about it. Just sing. Trust yourself and sing.
