Emotional intensity is a term coined by Imi Lo born out of the work of Elaine Aron’s Highly Sensitive model. Imi felt there was a gap between the HSP model and people who experience emotional intensity. On this episode of Student’s of Mind, Jayde talks to Imi Lo, a mental health consultant, psychotherapist and published author with extensive experience in psychotherapy, art therapy, and mental health. They discuss what it looks like to have the emotional intensity trait, how to embrace it, and how it manifests in the context of relationships.
