This video is a timeline of the history of trains, railways and locomotives. I presented how the first wooden tracks appeared, and how the steam carriage was invented by William Murdoch. Then the first steam locomotive was invented by Richard Trevithick, and improved by Matthew Murray and George Stephenson in the following years. The next major inventions were the electric locomotive and the diesel locomotive.
