With No.1 singles, Brit Awards, collaborators from Nile Rogers to Chronixx, and production credits (including Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Charli XCX, Anne-Marie and Tion Wayne) under his belt; Amir Amor is a Self Made local success story. Born in Tehran during the Iran-Iraq War and immigrating to UK with his family, Amir attended youth clubs in Camden where Plan B taught him his first chords, and he would eventually become a tutor at Tribal Tree before before founding a successful label and one of europe's most prolific touring bands. Amir Amor returned to Camden for an intimate evening of conversation and stories, tracing his extraordinary journey with practical tips and advice for freelancers and entrepreneurs across the creative industries as part of Roundhouse’s flagship Self Made programme of workshops, events and free business courses for 18-30 year olds.
