Diesel Wash - I believe this is what the mechanics use to do while cleaning chain or parts that have excessive dirt and scum, you can say the moving parts that are exposed to all the dirt and are hard to remove with water. It becomes a lot easier with Diesel and after that you can wash that part with a mild detergent or shampoo ( I specifically use Johnson baby Shampoo and have been using it from last 1.5 years for my bike wash ) . But please be aware that washing your bike with kerosene , diesel or petrol doesn’t make it rust free as these don’t have any rust free characteristics. The best way is wash your motorbike is : Use a bucket of water and splash it so that the complete Bike is wet. Mix some mild detergent with water and clean the wheels with a cloth. (dont use this cloth again as it might contain particles that may scratch the bikes body) Use Diesel/Petrol to clean the parts that have excessive greasy and oily dirt with a cloth. After this, you can wash it off using water mixed with mild detergent to make it look clean. Now, splash the water and clean it so that there’s no detergent left on the bike’s body. Dry it off using a clean microfiber cloth. #ktm #ktmrc200 #ktmindia #dieselwash #bikewash #shillong #neigrihms
