Prince Harry was effectively “gaslighting” the public after he stated in a recent interview Meghan Markle “never accused” the Royal Family of racism, says Writer and Broadcaster Esther Krakue. Her comments follow the controversial couple’s claim in a 2021 interview with Oprah regarding a Royal Family member who “expressed concern” about the “darkness” of Archie’s skin. “Now for anyone with half a brain cell that’s clearly an allegation of racism,” Ms Krakue told Sky News host Caroline Di Russo. “But then in a recent interview with Harry, he mentioned Meghan never accused the family of racism and that in his experience of the Royal Family they’re not actually racist, but they suffer from unconscious bias. “This is where really their story kind of took a turn for the worst, because he was effectively gaslighting the public and making it seem as if we don’t have independent judgment to see whether something is racist or not.”
