Coreyah has presented its unique blending of Korea’s traditional music, the world’s diverse folk music, and pop music for the past decade since its debut in 2010. During the time, the band released three full-length albums and performed in 51 cities of 34 countries over six continents. Each album was full of original themes and marvelous works, backed by effective staging. In 2020, the band released their 4th full album, entitled 〈Baksumugok〉, celebrating their 10th anniversary. ---------- [곡소개 Work Description] 날이 새도록 / 작사 작곡 경이, 편곡 고래야 퉁소의 유려한 선율과 거문고의 리듬, 일렉기타의 소리가 더해져 전통음악과 밴드사운드의 균형을 이룬다. 금강산타령의 사설로 사용되는 ‘슬픈노래는 다 집어치워 버리고’를 후렴으로 사용했다. 웃다리 농악에서 사용하는 육채 장단에 맞춰 박수를 치며 날이 새도록 놀 수 있는 흥겨운 곡이다. The refrain “Stop singing the sad song” comes from Geumgangsan taryeong. Listeners will get much entertainment by clapping their hands to the yukchae jangdan used in utdari farmers music.
