Right now, there is a powerful Tier 1 standard deck that is consistently winning top-level tournaments despite the fact that it only costs about $20-$80USD in paper. That deck is Jeskai Cycling. It's composed almost entirely of commons and uncommons and yet it is one of the most powerful decks in the format.
