Gamers are creating huge bills in popular games like FIFA and Fortnite without knowing. MPs say loot boxes should be recognised as a form of gambling and banned from being sold to children. Loot boxes contain mystery in-game items, tempting players with the chance any of them could contain something of huge value. An EA spokesperson told Sky News: “We have an ongoing commitment to player safety and well-being whenever they are playing our games or engaging in our communities. "We will continue to look at how we can contribute to productive research and solutions for the topics raised in this report, and we look forward to continuing our ongoing dialogue with the U.K. government.” #NationalVideoGamesDay SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube channel for more videos: http://www.youtube.com/skynews Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/skynews Like us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/skynews Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/skynews For more content go to http://news.sky.com and download our apps: Apple: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/sky-news/id316391924?mt=8 Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bskyb.skynews.android&hl=en_GB
