The main idea of a smart city is surprisingly simple — people should be comfortable living in it, businesses should work effectively, and authorities should be able to manage all this easily. In reality, this approach is implemented through a digital ecosystem that connects all elements of urban infrastructure: from transport and social institutions to elements of urban property. This integration comes at the expense of the Internet, IT, and the Internet of things.
