(Turn on captions for eng subtitles) From the Japanese BL (boy's love) Utsukushii Kare (My Beautiful Man) Hira x Kiyoi It makes me so sad to see people who have completely misunderstood this story and missed the point entirely. Seeing things through Hira's POV, I was completely drawn in and it was like whatever he believed, I also believed. And then getting to see Kiyoi's POV, it was such a shock for me. Then I rewatched the whole things several times and realized all the stuff I'd missed because I was just seeing things from Hira's narrow perspective and that realization was a m a z i n g. Maybe it's just me as a long-time writer, but the way this story was told is just so cool to me. It really makes me believe these two weirdos are perfect for each other.
