This educational digital story aims to educate all women ages 21-64 about the Pap test and the benefits of having it done. The digital story helps the viewer understand what happens during a Pap test with the hope of reducing barriers that exist among the target population regarding this exam. The story also provides encouragement to become informed about the cervical cancer screening guidelines and the options available for getting and paying for the Pap test. This tool is relevant to women within the ages recommended for Pap testing in the cervical cancer screening guidelines, with a focus on younger, Hispanic women who may not be well-informed about the Pap test or who have never gotten a Pap test before. All women are at risk of getting cervical cancer but in the U.S., Hispanic women are more likely to get it than any other group. This story is narrated in Spanish with English subtitles. It is free to use for educational and/or outreach purposes.
