Building an underground food storage in my big home is a difficult project, but I'm glad I started building it now. This year I planted a lot of vegetables and fruits in my garden that will need to be stored somewhere. The temperature outside is +28-32 degrees Celsius, which is very hot for our climate. Therefore, storing food underground is the best solution for me, because to use the refrigerator you need a constant power supply, which I don’t have yet. When I dug a hole 2 meters deep, water began to flow, which forced me to stop digging and start making a strong and reliable foundation. Due to the fact that I have a high groundwater level, I had to give a lot of waterproofing. The next stage of construction will be the walls and roof of the Underground Food Storage.
