Cho Yi Hyun's first encounter with (what seemed to be) an impossible dream occurred when she watched the musical Wicked. “I remember dreaming of becoming the type of person who leads a play and impresses the audience with songs like that.” After she left, she went home thinking, “I want to know how it feels to be applauded by so many people on stage.” And it was this seed of a small thought that grew until she eventually decided that she wanted to pursue acting. From her debut in the legal drama Witch at Court, short film On My Way Home, period drama My Country: The New Age, teen romance School 2021 and even horror film Metamorphosis, Cho has been expanding her range. Still, she believes there’s a long way to go when it comes to improving her repertoire as an actor. After all, this is only the start of her career. Here, she answers a series of random questions.
