Another edition of Sound of the Movies now, inspired by The Beach Boys reaching number 1 in the US singles charts with Kokomo on the 5th November in 1988. This track was featured in the movie Cocktail starring Tom Cruise, Bryan Brown and Elisabeth Shue. Other songs in the soundtrack and featured in the montage are Don’t Worry, Be Happy by Bobby McFerrin, Hippy Hippy Shake by The Georgia Satellites and Addicted to Love by Robert Palmer. Some great feel good music.
