Johnny Pursley - No time to see her Side One: When my sugar walks down the street I’ve grown accustomed to her face No time to see her Exactly like you The one I love Side Two: In the still of the night Among my souvenirs I’ll string along with you My romance There’ll be some changes made That old black magic Produced by Frank Pursley Arranged and conducted by Dee Roberts Sound Engineer Norman Dorr Private Pressing on Dream Records Recorded at Richland Recording Studio Lynchburg, VA Custom pressed and printed by Globe Recording Studio, Inc. Nashville, TN - I got this record along with the master tapes from my mother’s step-father. He was dating Mrs Pursley at the time. They had met at a senior living home and she wanted someone who loved music to have Johnny’s recordings. I was told that he spent some time in Glenn Miller’s Orchestra, I have found some videos where he is a trumpet player in the band. Johnny is listed as a trumpet player in the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiA_RD-xxII&list=PLDGtb8-RI0xvGuj8R5XjeeUSELKJhb5p3&index=1
