2023年5月28日に放送する「グランドキャニオン国立公園」から、絶景映像をお届けします。番組では紹介しきれなかった未公開映像も！ ---------------●○---------- 世界最大の峡谷、そして年間400万人を超す観光客が訪れるアメリカ屈指の絶景、グランドキャニオン。 見渡す限りどこまでも広がる大峡谷は、人間を圧倒します。先住民たちが、「母なる大地」と呼んだ大峡谷は、20億年分の地球の歴史を物語ります。 その雄大な景色を作り上げたのが、谷底を流れる全長2300キロの大河、コロラド川です。このコロラド川が谷を上から徐々に削り続けていった事で、古い地層が次々と露わになっていったのです。 放送も是非、ご覧ください！ The Grand Canyon, one of the most spectacular canyons in the United States, attracts more than 4 million tourists a year. Everyone is overwhelmed by the Canyon, stretching as far as the eye can see. The Canyon, called “Mother Earth” by the Native Americans, retraces geological history over 2 billion years. The Colorado River, a major river of 2,300 kilometers long, flows through the bottom of the canyon, creating this magnificent landscape. As the Colorado River gradually eroded the canyon from above, ancient layers of the earth were exposed one after another.
