The McLaren F1 remains the fastest naturally-aspirated car in the world, and its extreme performance led the brand to stripping it out for race use at Le Mans with the GTR. Its success there was celebrated with the F1 LM, a run of five cars to commemorate each GTR that competed in the 1995 race where the F1 finished first overall. Touted as the ultimate variant of the F1 road car, the LM most noticeably features the high downforce kit inspired by the GTR, but innumerable small details that keep the F1 LM at a level not reached by any supercar since.
