While Tokyo is often regarded as one of the safest big cities in the world, it still has scams that target tourists. Most of these scams revolve around bars and alcohol; which usually makes people part with their money much easier. These scams are real and happen to real people. This was recorded in February 2020, and it was originally planned for release during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Prior to the 2020 Olympics the Tokyo police actually put up posters warning tourists of these scams.
