The difference in ingame brightness is because OBS display capture doesn't take ingame gamma into account in D3D9 mode but does in Vulkan, in game it was the same for me. I tried to replicate the same conditions everytime, on all scenarios Vulkan is faster than both D3D9 and D3D11 by a good 20-30%, which is not nothing, that is due to the fact that the engine is single core and the graphics saturates the CPU with too many draw calls (I imagine ?). Sadly only the DX9 dll hack works for Vulkan under Windows for the moment so you are loosing DX10 and DX11 effects if you chose to play like this, but the performance difference is worth it in my opinion, maybe in the future the d3d11.dll from DXVK will work too ! That would be incredible :) Sorry sometimes we hear my very loud keyboard, that is because my microphone key is binded to del and I used del a lot during this video !
