These are the three different varieties of lumps that can happen one is near the anal canal always present the other one is it will be inside and it comes out and goes back on its own or it has to be pushed back. All these three things have got their own significance on their different diseases. So most of them will be if it is coming out and going back there will be piles. Sometimes there may be some other diseases like polyps. Even cancerous tumors can be coming out and may be pushed back or it may be a complete malignancy which is outside which has grown from inside to outside. So these are all different varieties of muscles. So any mass per rectum whenever you see it is abnormal swelling in that area whether it's outside are coming from inside to outside, it has to be taken seriously we have to examine it a surgeon has to see it and make a proper diagnosis. Then treatment depends on the diagnosis. If it is hemorrhoid, we will treat differently. If it is polyp, we will remove it and send for biopsy. If it is cancer and all the treatment is entirely different. So a serious disease like cancer also can be a small lump. So don't ignore or think that it is some root has come all that.
