Braces Overbite vs Overjet #Shorts Edition In this short, I will be answer the question of "do i really have an overbite?" and "whats the difference between an overbite and overjet?" A lot of the time when we're talking about braces or invisalign, we improperly call overjet as overbite. Overbite is how much your teeth overlap in the vertical dimension so if you have a big overbite, you have a deep bite and if you don't have enough overbite, you have an open bite. The term a lot of people are referring to is overjet, where the upper teeth stick out too far forward compared to the lower teeth. The opposite of a big overjet is an underbite! Want to learn more?
