"Regimental Sgt. Zippo" was an album recorded during 1967-68, intended to be Elton John's debut album, but then was shelved and never released, until finally this year it was released at last, on vinyl, for 2021 Record Store Day, in "beautiful swinging mono." The album contains mostly early songs by Elton John & Bernie Taupin, and also includes a couple of tracks by Elton John & Caleb Quaye. The album was produced by guitarist Caleb Quaye.
