#Steering #RWS #Rear_Wheel_Steering Introducing the Hyundai MOBIS’ award-winning tech, Dual-type Rear Wheel Steering (RWS) system. The Rear Wheel system allows the left and right 'rear' wheels to move independently in different directions. The system can be categorized into single-type and dual-type. Single-type uses one actuator to rotate both left and right rear wheels, whereas dual-type allows two actuators to rotate each rear wheel independently. With the latest introduction of dual-type RWS, it is expected to be more widely used in EVs and medium-sized vehicles, for better driving performance and safety. Hyundai MOBIS was able to advance existing dual-type RWS by increasing the steering angle of the dual actuator RWS system to at most 10 degrees. This is by far a significant advancement from the existing industry standard of 3 degrees, and a level similar to that of the single actuator RWS system. With this dual type RWS, Hyundai MOBIS was able to reduce the turning radius of vehicles by 23%. It also enables additional features such as assisted parallel parking, crab walking, and emergency steering (redundancy system will be activated when the front steering system fails). Hyundai MOBIS' Dual-type RWS system is awarded in the 'PACE Pilot Innovation to Watch' program as innovative technology. 00:00: Intro 00:15: What is RWS? 00:21: Features of RWS - 00:21: Improvement of Stability - 00:33: Reduction of Turning Radius - 00:40: Parking Convenience - 00:46: Crab Walk - 01:00: Emergency Steering [Click and get More Information!] 👉🏻 Homepage : https://www.mobis.co.kr/en/index.do 👉🏻 Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/mobisglobal 👉🏻 LinkedIn : https://www.linkedin.com/company/hyundai-mobis/ 👉🏻 Instagram : https://www.instagram.com/mobis_worldwide/ 👉🏻 Twitter : https://twitter.com/global_mobis
