Diclectin is often recommended as a treatment for women suffering from nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. In Canada, doctors write 300,000 prescriptions for the pill each year. When a Toronto doctor was asked if the pill actually works, he reanalyzed data from an old clinical trial and found no evidence that the pill was effective.
