Art for Life presents; Mye's Mediations Why paint Landscapes? I have really taken an interest in creating Landscape paintings, having been inspired by my study of Mystical Landscape Artists. Katherine Lochnan's book, Mystical Landscapes was a beautiful place to get my feet wet. Currently my favorite period in Art history is from the 1800- 1950 or so. Its a pretty wide range, but the work was especially dynamic to my perspective. This short video explores my initial thoughts on why I gravitate to Landscapes in the first place. Art is my Meditation and Landscapes have allowed a subtle but powerful shift in my Perspective on Art and Light and Life.
