A song from the Lebanese National Resistance Front (often known by its acronym "Jammoul"), a faction in the latter half of the Lebanese Civil War which resisted against the Israeli invasion and fought against other factions in the conflict. It emerged from the Lebanese National Movement and consisted of an alliance of various groups, including the Lebanese Communist Party, the Progressive Socialist Party, the Communist Action Organisation, the Arab Socialist Action Party, and others. This particular recording comes from 1986 as Lebanon's entry for the International Youth Festival in the Soviet Union.
