Kanda Bhaji or Pyaz Pakoda is a crispy and juicy Onion snack which is a match made in heaven with India's monsoon and chai. A very easy and traditional recipe for you to try during this monsoon season. Written Recipe:- Ingredients: Onion- 3 big (sliced) Salt- 2 Tsp Red Chilli powder- 1Tbsp Green Chilli- 3, Finely Chopped Coriander powder- 1 Tbsp Coriander leaves-1 Cup( approx) Gram flour (Besan)- 6 Tbsp Rice flour- 2 Tbsp Oil for frying. Procedure: In a bowl take the sliced Onions, add the Red Chilli Powder and gently squeeze and combine everything together. Add finely chopped green chillies, a cup of coriander and coriander powder and mix everything together. Now take 2 Tbsp of Rice Flour and 6 Tbsp of Besan or Gram Flour and gradually add to the onions and keep mixing until everything is homogeneous. Don't add water to this mixture even if you think it's dry, the onions will release their juices and give the mixture a deep flavour. Take a kadai and heat some oil to a high temperature. Add about 1 Tbsp or and deep fry until crispy. Serve hot with some Chai during this monsoon.
