How to Make Shortcrust Pastry #shorts 150g x Plain Flour 75g x Unsalted Butter (Diced) Pinch of Salt 1 x Egg Yolk 2 tbsp x Cold Water 1. Place the flour, butter and pinch of salt into a bowl. 2. Rub together between your fingers until it reaches a sand-like consistency. 3. Add in 1 egg yolk and 2 tablespoons of cold water. 4. Mix together until it comes together to forms a dough. 5. Wrap up and place in the fridge to rest for 30 minutes if using straight away. It will last in the fridge for up to 3 days or 1 month in the freezer.
