If you're wondering What are Megapixels? ... then this video is for you. I quickly show you what they are and how they can affect your photography and photographs. A megapixel refers to the photo sites on your sensor and this in tern refers to the pixels in your image. The higher the megapixel count, the higher the resolution of your image. In low light the sensor size does play a part in this. If you have a high megapixel sensor but it is small, it is likely to be bad in low light photography. If you have a large sensor with a high megapixel count, it will be better in low light! If you would like to see more, subscribe and turn on notifications for weekly videos, hints and tips and more.
