候武忠(莊凱勛飾)騎著機車跑遍七美全島，一村又一村，他對獨居老人做居家往診，照護病患健康，也關懷這些老人家的生活起居。侯醫師的熱心服務，在七美漸漸傳出了口碑，鄉民一改以往拖病不醫的習慣，有病便往衛生所跑，把侯醫師當作唯一的救命菩薩。侯醫師的妻子(錢泊渝飾)難耐夫妻分居兩地，四處請託奔走，終於得以如願，請調回澎湖教書。 Dr. Hou rides a motorbike to travel all around the Chi-Mei island village by village, he extends his medical and living care to the isolated old people at their houses. His enthusiasm is becoming more good reputation around this small Chi-Mei island. The people here are revising their bad old habit of delaying medication. Now they concern Dr. Hou is the only life health-guard, they go to the clinic when they feel sick.
