Our visit to the Golden Gate Highlands National Park in the Free State was immensely anticipated, and it did not disappoint. The natural beauty of the area was truly breathtaking, with towering sandstone mountains cloaked in lush green vegetation. Pausing at the various viewing points afforded us the opportunity to marvel at the magnificent gorges and valleys below, further enhancing our appreciation for the area's splendour.
