Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/maatusrecipes​ Instagram link: https://www.instagram.com/invites/contact/?i=me3dyi4p383e&utm_content=ngrm93k You will need: Urad dal: 2/3 cup Cooking oil: ¼ cup Red chili powder: 1 and ½ tbsp Heeng: ¼ tsp Water (as required) Salt (as required) Preparation: Add urad dal (2/3 cup) in a mixer jar Grind to get a smooth powder Check intermittently Grind for at least 3 times Add salt (as required), heeng (1/4 tsp) and red chili powder (1 and 1/2 tbsp) and grind once more Transfer urad dal powder to a mixing bowl Mix well Add water (as required) to make a stiff and smooth dough Add oil (as required) and knead the dough till it becomes soft Make small balls from the dough and transfer them to a serving bowl Pour oil over the dough balls and let it rest Paapad dough is ready Enjoy them with rice or flatten them into papad and sun-dry to make papads
