EATING HEALTY can be inexpensive when you prioritize ingredients with a long shelf life. Dry foods like oats, seeds and grains can be bought in bulk and cooked in bulk too. Canned foods like legumes and corn are advisable too. Because I live by myself I try to limit buying fresh produce 🫑🌽🥕🥬🍅 in large quantities because they spoil quickly before I can get to them. I also work 40hrs a week so I don’t always have the time nor energy to cook. Meal prepping ingredients helps me keep options and customize my meals as I go.
