Long post….. this song is finally released and I’m excited as hell for y’all to hear it! I wrote this song after stumbling upon a lick on my guitar. It just felt 90’s country and it got me thinking about honky tonks, sawdust floors, and heartbreak. This is one of those songs that kind of just wrote itself and I’m very proud of the work we all put into making what I heard in my head come to life! I have to give a huge shout out to Jerrod Niemann producing, mentoring me, and for getting the best players out there to play on this song and some others we have coming out this year and for the guys at @Countryrebel for believing in me and my songs! Thank you @rmcnelley, @jacoblowerymusic, @evanhutchings, Michael Rojas, and @mikejohnsonproductions for being so ridiculously talented and playing on this track! Thank you @justincortelyou and @codylabellemix for getting everything mixed and sounding perfect! Everyone involved on this song and the ones we have coming out this year are true professionals and I couldn’t be more appreciative of their talent, hard work, and willingness to give me a shot!
