These hidden gems are group of 18 cays located about 35 KM (22 Mi) from Pearl Lagoon. You can take a 30 minutes Panga (speed boat) ride from Pearl Lagoon to get to them. Some of them have access to fresh water, most of them have luscious coconut / palm trees and other vegetations, but all of them have crystal clear water that showers their white sandy beaches. The Pearl Cays are an important nesting site for turtles, including the critically endangered Hawksbill turtle. If you haven’t visited this place, make sure to add it to your bucket list, as it's a must-see destination in your travels through the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua.
