Acclaimed Norwegian guitarist Lage Lund continues to build on his reputation, sparked by winning the Thelonious Monk International Guitar Competition in 2005. Lage is a master of jazz standards and a busy composer as well. He can swing hard and possesses a remarkable harmonic sophistication. Based in New York for the past couple of decades, Lund is a favorite of the legendary Pat Metheny, and he's an important member of both Maria Schneider's Orchestra and the David Sanchez Quartet. Earning great reviews for his new quartet album Terrible Animals, Lage Lund is among an exclusive group setting the agenda for jazz improvisation in the 21st century. Songs: 1.Brasilia 0:00 2.
