섬진강을 따라 하동에서 쌍계사로 가는 국도는 전국에서도 알아준다는 벚꽃 군락지가있습니다. 가지와 가지가 맞닿은 벚나무 터널은 멀리서 봐도 아름다워요. ‘한국의 아름다운 길’이라는 명칭이 아깝지 않은 그 곳을 4k드론으로 담았습니다 구례에서 하동으로 이어지는 섬진강변 19번 국도. 그 길목에는 전라도와 경상도를 이어주는 화개장터가 자리하고 화개장터에서 쌍계사의 초입까지 이어지는 구불구불한 화개천을 따라 쌍계사까지 이어지는 약 5km 길 양편에서 머리를 맞대고 있는 벚나무에 꽃이 만개하면 뽀얗게 피어난 꽃송이들이 하늘을 덮은 모습이 그야말로 장관입니다. 쌍계사로 가는 길목에는 벚꽃뿐만 아니라 초록빛 야생차밭도 줄줄이 펼쳐져 십리벚꽃길의 멋을 더해주고, 그 멋진 풍경을 음미하며 걷다보면 십릿길도 그다지 지루하지 않답니다.
