An Adventures At Home, LLC video. In this video we are going to show you how to make mountain bookends. These are great looking bookends that have a place on any rustic bookshelf. These bookends are really easy to make and require minimal materials. We chose to leave the base of the mountains natural and to “whitecap” the mountains with white and blue paint, but this can easily be customized to fit your needs! ****Reminder to everyone - Submit a photo of one of your projects you have made (hopefully using one of our videos for inspiration) and you'll have a chance to be featured on our Maker's Spotlight page! Thank everyone for watching!**** If you want to check out the scroll saw that I used and talked about in the video you can click here: https://amzn.to/2rqMpcA We bought this scroll saw for one of our projects a few months ago, and we are surprised how much more we use it than we thought we would. We definitely prefer to use a scroll saw over a jig saw whenever possible now! Like this video? Make sure to give us a thumbs up and subscribe if you want to see more how-to videos like this. About this video: In this video we are going to show you how to make mountain bookends. After making the floating shelves for Ryan’s room we realized we needed bookends as well. These bookends look great, and are a breeze to make. They really don’t take much time, and can be completed in a few hours. As an added bonus, we made these out of scraps we had left over from building Ryan a desk for his room. Really the only thing we had to purchase to make these was the dowel that holds the larger and smaller mountain together. Plus, the finish on these mountain bookends can be changed really easily to fit your style and needs. We really think you’ll enjoy making this project with us. So come on and build with us.
