Using BlitzPlum's IK/FK rig of the Unleashed cutscene model, I had a go at tracking Sonic into a real life scene using Boujou, 3DS Max and After Effects. It's not perfect, as the animation is timed awkwardly and the tracking is inaccurate due to poor camera quality (combined with the fact that I stabilised the footage before tracking, giving unnecessary motion blur), but other than that it seems pretty successful.
