However why he decided to embark on the Burning Crusade is something I think we were lied to about. Recent Silithus info told us that the titans are not really that different than him they just use different methods. Furthermore Illidan is like a mini Sargeras himself, trying to fulfill some perfect vision disregarding the process and once the titans come to Azeroth there is no way these two are being left behind.
